The Human Face of Caspro
Nelson Mandela, one of the world’s greatest inspirational leaders, said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” At Caspro, we believe in the power of education as an agent of change and progress. And for nearly a decade, the Caspro Group has looked after the needs of rural residential school in Kolhapur.
Ashramshala – A tribal children’s school, with a total student strength of 175 and a staff of 25 teachers, has been under the patronage of the Caspro Group since 2013.
Going beyond just financial support, our Joint Managing Director, Mr. Mahendra Rathod, takes a personal interest in the school for the underprivileged children.
The students here look forward to celebrating Mr. Rathod’s birthday every year. We distribute indoor and outdoor games kits, books, clothes, shoes, etc. On this day, the children present a cultural program comprising dances, drama, sports activities, etc., and partake in a celebratory meal.
On special festival days, the Caspro Group spreads the joy by distributing sweet boxes to every student and staff member. And on India’s Independence Day, 15th August, the organization also gifts study material and laptops to high-performing children of their employees, to motivate them further.
Our CSR is not just limited to the school, but extends to the environment and birds too. We lead a tree plantation drive every year and together with a group of volunteers, we plant hundreds of trees annually.
At Caspro, we believe true progress is inclusive. Our wellbeing includes the welfare of our society, our people and the environment too. And through our corporate social responsibility, we make a genuine difference as a nurturing brand.
